see, and you were so skeptical about that bud! The one I potted up (also ghostly upon arrival) is green and starting to grow, too.

Rick, sounds like a good plan for the hostas.

Tonight and tomorrow night have 30-soemthing temps forecast, not sure about frost (no warning posted), but I'll cover up my basil plants again with their flannel sheet!
