My report is quite similar to Della's. From the few Liliums that survived rodent attacks/mosaic virus (most of them asiatics), I have only two about to bloom: the short stemmed Matrix and Rick's daughters, L. candidum. Unfortunately, in late winter I transplanted the newer bulbs produced from scales and from seeds (app. 8 of each) of L. candidum and it seems they will not bloom for me this year. Last year I had some blooms from these babies
A couple weeks ago I was invaded by .... COWS! One of these beasts ate two of my Matrix lilies. Question: do they transmit mosaic virus like rodents do?
