I have better luck taking the plants outside...which in zone 5 might not always be an option for you! When I lived in the Arctic Tundra of NC I would wait for a shaft of light to fall on the living room carpet..put the plant in the shaft of light and the camera would (usually) only see the plant and all the busy background would be dark. Great job on growing your Vanda's..I'm envious!
