Donner--
It is always a sad sight to have to cut back a Brug in full bloom to get the cuttings. Been there--done that....also with a Maya....They DO grow huge
and bloom prolifically...Usually the biggest bloom flush is in October/Novemeber----IF there has not been a frost.
Sally--Taking hard-wood cuttings (as fat as you want) of a brug to root....
Use a Pro mix only---you can use rooting hormone on the stem you are planting if you want. Shove your cutting ALL the way down into the pot--
make the hole first with a piece of round wood--close to same size as your cutting...and just wait....
Keep just moist until you see new leaves emergingor do a gentle tug test--
Brug cuttings will be rooted in in about 2 -3 weeks. Then keep them under lights.
Good luck! Gita
