I prepare and use Aloe Vera gel as described by Debbie . For 1/4 cup gel I add 500mg Vitamin C and 400 IU Vitamin E. The Vit E is an oil contained in a gel capsule drained by pricking with a pin. The mixture stores for 5-8 months in a refrigerator. The Vitamins act as antioxidants/preservatives. For shaving wet the face with water, apply some shaving cream and aloe vera gel. The shaving blades slide more smoothly, shave better and last longer.
