Nothing to be sorry for at all, I was wondering if it was something like that. TY for the reply. You were probably so happy to find those pics!! You are probably a little north of their reliably hardy range. They are as predictable as a clock around here, blooming in Sept, so I was curious when I saw the date. If you'd like to try again, I'd be happy to send you some for postage reimbursement, whenever they have foliage so I know where they are. They are showing foliage from now until about May. Putting them near the south or west side of your house, or near a brick or concrete path or patio could give them the microclimate needed to survive.
The golden rule: Do to others only that which you would have done to you.

The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The 2nd best time is now. (-Unknown)
