I started working on a DIY Christmas project this afternoon. Saw this idea on Pinterest for a great way to display those lighted houses. I collected the Dept 56 Dickens Villages houses back in the 1980s but haven't gotten them out in years because they just took up so much space. I think this will be perfect in the corner of the foyer that opens up into the library. Mike's sister Bonnie helped me with the dimensions. Then his brother Richard stopped by and said he would put the wooded structure together for me this week so I will have it to finish it up next weekend. Bonnie and I figured 4 tiers like the photo, but they will be in a curve instead of square. Anyway, here is the inspiration pin and I'll post photos when I get the project finished.
