I am pretty sure this comes from the family Liliaceae. If you cannot see it has 6 petals, 6 stamen, and a pistil with 3 lobes/stigma. It is a light purple with white and dark purple strips near the center. I found a bunch of them on a median in the middle of a road in Southwest Florida. They were under 6 inches.
