I occasionally venture into the flower specific forums, usually with a quick care question. I'm often totally confused by the language and/or abbreviations (e.g., referring to flower stalks as scapes, the ploids, iris classes, flower societies, etc.). It would be nice if they each had an introductory stickee setting out common terms, particularly those that will likely be abbreviated. I'm sure it comes as second nature to those who are focused on a particular flower, but for those of us who grow a mish-mash, it can be a challenge.
