I guess this time of the year may not yield many Healthy Eating posts. New one I am trying, so far , so good. I only use about a teaspoon of sugar a month but it has been Agave Syrup. Now it seems it is worse than High Fructose. So I sought out an alternative. Just got some Granulated Honey from Spice Jungle. Easily dissolves in water. Does not burn in baking. I like it. One thing that I have always avoided in a spice blend is sugar. Bought one the other day that did have sugar in it and I liked it. Probably because it was unlike any other blend I have. Barrier Reef from Savory Spice Shop. Great stuff. Fabulous in eggs. Now I am making my own BR blend starting with G. Honey, orange zest, lemon peel, savory, allspice, ginger, a little red Hatch chili powder. Nice. Gene
