Agree with ctcarol, it does looks really like Zephyranthes sp. to me it almost surely Z. grandiflora. In my area these never totally dormant, they grow slower at dry seasons, may be they are not necessarily lifted, it seems nice though, having green in a grey winter. Another possibility with that leaves color is Habranthus sp (brachiandrus?), though they seems never had that much of leaves.
