I have actually taken quite a few images in the last few years (just not this year)....hold on lol

Here's 2 images taken when the clump was situated in a full sun position and had been for 2-3 years. This alleged Affaire was darker, blotchy with elongated falls. It was looking rather crumpled looking..like someone had crumpled it up then tried smoothing it out again.
I couldn't make up my mind whether I like it or not...but decided to 'pot it up' due to re-arranging the layout of the gardens and left it in a half shade position.

Then the following 'blooming season,' this alleged 'Affaire' was much more 'finer looking' compacted and lighter

One thing for sure, and I thought I've photogrpahed the base of the foliages (just found out that I hadn't D'Oh! ) it had a strong presence of purpling at the base of its foliage...the same extent as Bayberry Candle.

And I'm hoping (crossing my fingers Crossing Fingers! Whistling lol) that the real 'Affaire' doesn't have any PBF.
