I agree that more pictures would be helpful. I am not positively convinced that your Affaire is outside the range of variation for Affaire.
Yes, I've noticed it with 'Autumn Prince', when we had quite a few days of heavy rain or a week of rain and within a week, the blooms unfurled and some looking quite washed out. I've not had any breaking out with streaks or broken colour yet (except for this alleged 'Affaire' which varies slightly depending on full sun position and sun/shade position.
