18 yr old in my subtropical garden!
Kangaroos can be dangerous but you'd have to corner them I think. I have not heard of them inflicting damage to property. Unlike scrub turkeys which can attack wooden house piers. But even their powerful claws would not have done the letterbox.

Just b4 sunrise we had massive thunder lightning and heavy rain. Surprisingly some daylilies look OK. But have to go out.
