So what I purchased as 'Sancerre' has finally opened here. Being from the same source as the 'Corsica' imposter (see
The thread "Not 'Corsica'" in
Lilies forum), I decided to double-check the registry just in case a similar lily was being passed off for it.
Well, what I've got is out to up-facing, not up-facing as per the register. Two obvious issues are that the registry describes the nectaries as strong purplish red (which they aren't on this flower), and the outside as being yellowish white suffused with light yellow-green at the base (whereas this seems to have a hint of pink instead).
Note: the stigma colour probably won't be accurate, since I took these photos after pollinating it.
I don't suppose anyone has any ideas what it might be?
