If your vendor changed the name later on, I get the feeling that she has no real idea what she is selling.
It is sad that you can no longer get New Zealand iris like those from Jean Stevens in your own country. I would think there would be a demand for them in your iris community. I can tell you that I would be heartbroken if I couldn't get the iris from some of the U.S. hybridizers here.
