DH turned the heaters on, even tho I told him it wasn't going to freeze tonight. Me thinks he didn't want to see his wife melt down if it did freeze! Rolling my eyes.
@drdawg The last bad weather scare was a possible tornado a few months ago. We were actually talking about what was an "indoor room" in our house. Really not one, except possibly a hall bath downstairs. I was awake until nearly 4AM, listening to all the warnings. DH decided to sleep! ( Well, one of us had to get the bike helmets and a mattress to cover in the tub case of tornado).

Our daughter interned at this particular TV station one summer during college. She showed up one morning to find the weather guy in pajamas. He had spent the night there reporting the weather (which was another non-event).
