We were at 25F most of the day and had a light, gentle snowfall for most of the day as well... only amounted to an inch or so (and we had none on the ground before that), but I think this batch will be hanging around for a while now. So, along with trying to get the Christmas decorations put up (finished the tree today, still have some things to hang on the wall and such), I've been busily covering all of the windows with "shrink film." That stuff makes a huge difference in the way our house feels in the really cold weather (despite the fact that all of our windows are relatively new), and also prevents condensation on the glass -- which was actually starting to ruin our wooden window frames. Plus, it's incredibly clear and pretty close to invisible. And then we had chili and fresh homemade bread for supper... a perfect meal for a winter day. All topped off by the Packers beating Seattle. Life is good!
