Hope it's not too late to jump in a year and a bit later. I was just going to enter a couple more photos of Coreopsis 'Cruizin Main Street', and found I had a few single blossoms with some sort of Pollinator on them. Since they were cruizing on Main Street, I thought it might be appropriate. I remember coming across some of jmorth's flying creatures on some fall asters a while ago, and I saw one of my critters that I thought was some kind of wasp, being called a Sawfly. So how could I verify this, so I could identify it for the photo caption. I tried to enter it into the Database - no luck, since it is a PLANT Database. Then I searched and found Forums - found Butterflies, Birds and Bees, so I entered Sawfly. The third entry that came up netted me this wonderful conversation.

I hope we can eventually have a Database for these wonderful entities. Or at least a link to some of the wonderful photos that people share in these Forums.

So I will be daring, and put up just one photo with something on an underpetal. Actually, I'll do it right now, and then paste it into this conversation. Hope I don't lose this entry in the process!
