Elena @bxncbx, thanks for that tip. It has been very dry here and it has been hard to keep the water up in some sections of the garden (mainly because our Council charges like a wounded bull for water here). I am going to give the Scarlet Lace clump a thorough soaking individually and watch what happens.
Debra I have been trying different things that look structurally different, like clips, wire plastic, strings, beads and using in combination without being too reliant on colors. Luckily, the season is now down to reblooms and the pollen dabbing is not as demanding.
