In another thread the relatively new baby broccoli (Broccolini) has been discussed.
Another new development is a sprouting cauliflower. Cauliflower is traditionally a one and done crop. cut the main head and the harvest is finished. Multi-Head White forms a small 6 inch main head then side shoots produce more smaller heads. It is a hybrid that must some sprouting broccoli genes. Possibly from the white sprouting broccoli I have seen advertised in Europe.
Baby is a miniature cauliflower. One 3 inch head on a miniature plant. Promoted for sales in garden centers. 4 inch pot with plant just budding so customer can take it home and have cauliflower in a week to 10 days. Close to instant gratification for impatient gardeners.
