Newyorkrita said:So we had snow overnight and then freezing rain on top. Not enough rain and not warm enough for the rain to wash away the snow as the darn weather guessers had said it would. They said a dusting. We had about 4 inches. Under was a layer of wet slush that wants to freeze.

Boy was this crap difficult to shovel. It stuck on each shovelful and didn't want to slide off!! I really didn't think I could manage to get it done but I had to get it off the porch steps and the pathway down to the sidewalk. So I struggled along and cleared it off as best I could. It is done as good as it gonna get and I am back inside.

Rita I read once that spraying a snow shovel with something like PAM would help the snow slide right off. Of course I have no experience with this as you might guess. Whistling
