Margaret, I'm so sorry for your loss.....

Jamie, I have friends who live outside Ottawa, and have greyhounds. A couple years ago they had tons of snow -- at one point, the dogs could walk up a snowbank and look over the 6ft privacy fence into the neighbor's yard.

When I'm fussing about our stoopid hawt summers, I remember that we make up for it in the winter months (or should I say the "winter weeks" ?)
