We drove up to the lake yesterday to drain the pump on the dock. Checked things and left. An hour up, then an hour back. Came home to stuff the last of the plants into the hoops. Took us about 4 hours, had to rearrange to put a second heater in the big hoop. Set up the heaters and hoped the weather guy would be wrong again. He wasn't...

Our daughter has a small hoop behind their fence that her husband made for her last month. I bought her an oil filled heater as one of her Xmas gifts, but decided we should take it over last night. They had a tiny electric heater on a table to keep out the cold in her hoop. None of us thought it would be so cold. We got home right before the front blew in about 7:30. It just stopped blowing a while ago. So far, all plants look good.

We are invited to an open house this evening, about four houses up the street. We're going to take the car because once the sun goes down, it's going to get really cold again. We're sissies in our advanced age! Whistling

Stay warm
