The sustained below freezing temperatures we had the week before Christmas killed off all remaining blooms, but on Christmas Day we hit 80 degrees, breaking the previously recorded high temperature for that day...Gosh, I love living in Texas... Lovey dubby Hilarious!

While wandering the yard on Christmas Day, noticed my tree peony. Check it out. Big Grin

If you ever doubt the efficacy of a good thick mulch, take a gander at this Echinacea. Cold killed off the tops, but it is still springing green with all those leaves cocooning the base. Thumbs up
