Losing someone is always so tough. I can imagine how it feels, since I also have similar first hand sorrow from Dec 2015 when we lost my mom two days before Christmas, bringing her cremains to our homeland in April 2016 as we promised, and then coming back again unexpectedly for my mother-in-law in June 2016 to Aug 2016 as she went critical and then passed away. Then in early December this same year, lost grandma of my hubby as well. I can only pray a merciful stop already, have reached our own quota of sadness. My mom was 83, my mother-in-law 67, and grandma in law was about 94. Is there an appropriate age to go..when it is time, it is time..but always a pain to bear. I am just thankful, that I was given opportunity to say goodbye, to all of these loving mothers, all part of our lives.

But life moves on, slowly. Got to look ahead and just cherish memories, and be thankful for family and friends who help us get through the darkest moments.
