So I finally sat down today to put together my seed orders for myself and our MG plant sale. I could not believe the prices of seeds at some places--Burpees was the worst. I found some of the same seeds I wanted from Burpees at Park Seeds for almost 1/2 the price (same number or more of seeds). I so prefer to order from the smaller growers that seem to be more reasonable. Unfortunately, there are some hybrids that our plant sale customers want. Sigh.... Spent almost $200 on 4 seed orders today. I don't think I've ever spent over $150. before. I've become a "seed miser", not giving whole packets to people when we only need to grow 2-3 dozen plants.
