We heard thunder this evening and the wind picked up. News said Tyler was getting some rain but it never made it to between Tyler and Chandler darn it.
We're not on any water restrictions out here with Dean Water Supply but we are still watching what we water. Water the plants around the house since it also helps around the foundation and the few small trees we've put out int eh last few years he waters those every 3 days or so a little bit and the big ones near the power lines and close to the house so if it ever does rain here hopefully it will help them from up rooting.

My little pond/water fall I have not changed or cleaned the water in it at all this summer only shut it down to clean the filters every so often since the algae likes to grow in this heat and only add water to it when it gets down to the bottom of the first "step " level which seems to be every 2 weeks.

I may have to start spot washing my car and see if that helps bring rain as the last time we washed it there was about a dozen drops before I put it in the garage..guess I should have left it out.
And I'm sure not looking forward to school starting next week as my bus does not have air conditioning wonder if they would say anything if I had a pan of ice water on the floor to stick my left foot in whiel I drove to try and stay cool ....LOL
