Where do we look for Sulphur cats this time of year? You better be saying, "Near the flowers or buds or blooms." Hilarious!

Then, to my complete surprise, I saw a female Pipevine Swallowtail in the backyard! This warm weather is getting everyone confused. My Spicebushes are starting to leaf out, too!

Dorantes Skipper. Notice it doesn't have the bluish color on top like the Long-Tailed Skipper.

I have several bagworms (actually caterpillars) on the well. This one was the biggest.

In plants that are actually on time, the Pellitory is popping up again. It's my host plant for Red Admirals.
