I'm afraid you lost me on this one. I guess I am young enough that I never knew the "old" way. By the time I was old enough to have my own home setup, we had DVD's and Blu-ray. I have hooked up a VCR to my TV, but I guess I just did what I had to do and never realized that there used to be an easier way Shrug!

The ProBook's are nice. That's what my sister has and she has only good things to say about it. I have the Samsung Notebook 9 and I haven't had any problems with it yet. It is still new though. Only time will tell. Samsung does have an issue with going downhill fast with some of their devices.
