Weedwhacker said:A friend recently told us he always buys premium gasoline to put into his "small engine" stuff, because so much of the regular gas contains ethanol and that will cause things to clog up much more quickly.

I am totally ignorant when it comes to any kind of engines, so I don't know if this is true or not.

Depends on what state you live in; in Minn. gasoline for recreational use is the only alcohol free gasoline and it is best to not have alcohol in any gasoline if you can.
In a vehicle it will give you approx. 30 percent better fuel mileage without alcohol.

Last I checked it was -6 here.
Our high for the day was -4 but as you northerners know, the more you are in it the less it bothers you.
We need snow badly so the frost does not go so deep into the ground.

For me the winter of each year starts in Dec. and ends in March so, to me, this thread is accurate.
Right now the cold water out of the tap is cold enough you can feel it in your teeth.
