I got a dwarf desert rose as a gift about November. I keep it in a sunny window, and give it about an ounce of water each week. Recently, the cauldex has become shriveled, and the roots (I pulled it out) are all real short, like one centimeter, so it's pretty loose in the pot. The tips of the leaves are turning brown.
Should I get a new growing medium, or is there something else I should do?
