Pruned back my sweet bay, which got too dry while we were away over the holidays. I'm going to see if I can get some cuttings started in time for the seed swap... Putting them in water for a few days gives them a jump-start, according to Tom DeBaggio. They don't actually put out water roots but do get swollen bumps, which quickly sprout roots when they are potted. Given the quality of the leaves, they are more like stem cuttings LOL, but if they root new leaves should follow quickly.
We're all learners, doers, teachers.
