AMISH FRIENDSHIP BREAD

Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups buttermilk or 2 cups milk plus 2 tablespoons vinegar or lemon juice
4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
Cinnamon/sugar mixture
2/3 cups sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease two loaf pans
In a mixer cream together butter, 2 cups of sugar, and eggs.
Next add milk, flour, and baking soda.
Put 1/4 of the batter (or a little less) into each of the greased loaf pans
Mix in separate bowl the 2/3 c sugar and cinnamon.
Sprinkle 3/4 of the cinnamon mixture on top of the batter in each pan.
Next add spread the remaining batter in the bread pans
Then sprinkle both pans with last of cinnamon topping.
Swirl a knife through the batter of each pan
Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 min. or until toothpick tester come clean.
Cool in pan for 20 minutes before removing from PAN


The Best Banana Bread Ever and its Easy!


Prep time: 15 mins
Cook time: 55 mins
Total time: 1 hour 10 mins

Its a super easy recipe!!! And it freezes well!
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup sugar
¾ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
1 – 1 ¼ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
3 very ripe, soft, darkly speckled bananas, mashed well (about 1 – 1 ½ cups)
1/4 cup PLAIN yogurt
2 large eggs, beaten lightly
6 TBLSP butter, melted and Cooled
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Instructions
Start with melting butter listed below to start cooling before starting!!
Adjust oven rack to middle position and heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease and flour pan. Set aside.
Mix mashed bananas, yogurt, eggs and melted/cooled butter and vanilla with
wooden spoon in medium bowl. *I throw it in a bowl with my handheld mixer here and just keep going*Whisk flour, sugar, salt and walnuts in large bowl to combine, set aside. Scrape batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake until loaf is golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean… about 55 minutes. Cool in pan for 15 minutes. Then transfer to wire rack.
