I label mostly my sempervivum, sedum and other alpine plants growing in my raised beds. I did have some of the plants in my perennial borders with the nursery plastic labels, until my grand dogs stayed with us for awhile. Between the two of them I think they found every tag and chewed them up.
Some of those plants I have photos of with the name. It's like the lovely little raspberry colored penstemon with the missing tag. I can't tell you the name of it.
