Years and years ago, before I was a serious gardener--I had an Asparagus fern.
It was in a 10" HB. I would bring it in for the winter--and put it back out for the summer.
Did you know they put out little blooms? Thode blooms become bright red berry-like seeds
that sit on the fronds. In time--these red "berries" start drying up and shrivel.
That is when you can take them off and remove the small. dark "seed" inside the berries.
I would plant this seed and grow some new tiny, new plants which looked like a small blade of grass.
