Thank you, everyone, for the condolences... this wasn't even a really close friend; this has just been a somewhat difficult year for me, being the same age as my dad was when he died, and then to have a friend die at the same age. Never mind all of the younger friends that have passed away in recent years... just feeling kind of "melancholy," I guess. (does anyone use that term anymore??
