In my area, Gabe, the rule of thumb is to give the iris a small dose of fertilizer on Valentine's Day. The thought is that from mid February the first blooms will be around March 1, or six weeks. Sometimes it is not possible to feed at that time because we will have snow or ice but I try not to wait too long after that for their bloom feeding. This year..... who knows.
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?
