It is not recognized as a valid name now. The ITIS information dates back to 2011. The CoL's information is more recent.

We don't have a separate entry for Aloe hybrid. We use botanical names for our entries. Botanical names are Latin, and hybrid is not a Latin word. Some genera do have species names ending in hybrida, hybridum, or hybridus, but Aloe is not one of them.

You can tell how obsolete the ITIS information is from this fact: ITIS says that Aloe x spinosissima is a hybrid of Aloe humilis var. echinata x Aloe arborescens. Aloe humilis var. echinata no longer exists. It's a synonym for Aloe humilis.
