We again hear hordes of robins in the big trees today. They are really the big fans of the bird bath. Until this bunch, I rarely saw a bird at the bath, I also assumed that without ice everywhere they used their own water sources.

Little birds have been chowing down on a millet mix I got from GIta. She had found it at Big Lots, 4 pounds for 6$. it is packaged for cage birds (parakeet on the front lol) but is mostly mixed red and white millet. Maybe it is gourmet chow for these wrens, juncoes and doves. Has some little colored bits too, maybe vitamins and minerals. Fancy!
Plant it and they will come.
