Guess I could dig down around it a ways and see. Our maple tree is grafted, but I bought it and knew it. I'm always cutting suckers off the darn thing. Guess I could try rooting some of them too. Sis always needs trees for shelter belts for the livestock and doesn't care what they are, as long as they aren't cottonwoods
