Mary, I don't know if N. Cassata is a specie narcissus. I'll check and let you know. Also, for the bulbs that give you a hard time, try them in pots. Sending you tree mail.

Neal, you're right, the bulbs are blooming out of order here, thanks to our crazy weather. Further, we have no freezing weather predicted in the next 2 weeks, so I expect the garden will be exploding with blooms. The front garden smells divine from all the blooming hyacinths Lovey dubby !
