At super fancy hospitals where they treat extremely ill people, sometimes they have a gift shop in-house where you can buy plastic plants or balloons or little stuffed animals that have been decontaminated. But that's not at all common.

Even in general hospitals though there could be patients who would be harmed by plant materials in the air. This is especially true on critical floors like Stepdowns and ICUs. Sometimes you just never know.
