Mr. Kitazawa started in business after a stint at my grandfather's nursery in Oakland CA. That was back in the 1920's.

But if your plants never get taller than 2 inches, there is still a problem. Are you choosing to grow veggies with too long a growing season for your area? Do they bolt at 2 inches?
