I recently bought Scilla peruviana and it had 4 scapes in bloom; but after I transplanted the bulbs, the scapes started to turn mushy. What happened? The soil is between moist and wet according to the soil meter.
There is one scape that is the largest and thickest with spent blooms left. Some of the leaves also turned yellow and mushy.
Too much water?
