Hi! I have some more questions for you about seed starter soil. I finally found perlite & vermiculite ( 8 cups for $8, the vermiculite was slightly more). I see I can get 4 cubic ft of perlite for $25 & 4 c. ft of vermiculite for $29 through Amazon, a much better deal. But that's a lot of soil amendments! I'll do that next year if this works. What do you think of those prices? (I DO know you are not a store, knowing prices of everything...but..if you have any thoughts about this I'd appreciate them).
Next question: I have lots of compost outdoors....I compost leaves and coffee grounds & weeds, etc during the growing g season. Can I use that in my starter soil or will I be introducing pathogens?
