Hi Melissa
I followed the link you put on the other Adenium group site and found this one.
I am very interested in you series regarding the seeds of Anucha's you planted.
I also planted some Anucha double and triple seeds on the 3rd of August, so I am interested to see how they go compared to yours
I used a medium of 60% seed raising mix and 40% coarse river sand, sprayed that with funguside and laid the seed on that. I then covered the seed with about 10mm of vermiculite. I also needed to add some more vermiculite because the seedlings were unstable. I planted 33 seeds and got 30 germinate.
They are around the 100th lot of seeds I have planted over the last 2 years and they are the first ones I planted without soaking. They emerged within a week and I only had to help about 25% of them out of their hats. A process for which I used some long nosed tweezers and a dental pick.
At the same time as Anucha's seeds I also planted two trays of Ko's seeds. Ko's seeds germinated in excess of 90% and currently they are both traveling along at a similar speed.
Regards
Tony
