Oh, wow. Yeah, route 66 goes through the panhandle by Amarillo. Definitely not much grass (or much of anything) there. It can be a very lengthy trip, because we have so much land, but I hope you get to come see our beautiful state some time. We have 7 different general regions with varying landscape throughout. My mom lives up the the Pineywoods (Lake and Pine) Region. It is very green up there, usually with very high humidity. There are freshwater lakes, ponds, creeks, and streams everywhere. Towering trees abound.
