Mostly sunny. East wind around 10 mph.

Gene,
It does have layers, and is really a perfect pepper. I can't find where I bookmarked the place to get it from. Could you link me again?
Ewww on the bug in the ear. I hate that!

Ginny,
Are you serious? I had a spit of rain and then it was done.

Cindy,
Good call on the roses!

Jim,
Love the little peas! The rest are coming up too, and oh, the mints everywhere...

Pepper,
The phones. What on earth do people want and why aren't they Googling it, lol!
Oh well, it's better to be busy altho I'd rather be running around than answering phones.

Wow Mac!
Such nice seedlings! How do you get the broccoli or is it cabbage, to survive the heat from the bulbs? That's my problem when trying to get them to grow under lights. This year I was going to try direct sowing.

A word of warning.

We got all four kids yesterday and it was a madhouse. Just as we got home my neighbor called. She's a Master Gardener and had been to a meeting. Those red lily devouring bugs are as close as Cedar Rapids, which is usually colder and to the north of me. If you remember Wanda/Wanda'sflowers from DG, she was always having a hard freeze take out her flowers. Anyway, I don't have too many lilies, but I hope they don't make it here. The solution was to spray with Neem oil as soon as they start growing thru the ground.
