Mostly sunny. East wind around 10 mph.

Char,
LOL! Love the cats in the snow!

Linda,
ROTFL over your drastic cooling! I'm still wearing the same winter clothes myself...

Ginny,
Laughing over the daffodils, but HOW true!

A word of warning.

We got all four kids yesterday and it was a madhouse. Just as we got home my neighbor called. She's a Master Gardener and had been to a meeting. Those red lily devouring bugs are as close as Cedar Rapids, which is usually colder and to the north of me. If you remember Wanda/Wanda'sflowers from DG, she was always having a hard freeze take out her flowers. Anyway, I don't have too many lilies, but I hope they don't make it here. The solution was to spray with Neem oil as soon as they start growing thru the ground.

I hope the lily beetle does not reach you. They are horrible. I keep a really close watch on my lilies and have managed to escape them, but most gardens around here have had their lilies decimated. My mother had a huge stand of tiger lilies that had bern growing for over 50 years at her house, destroyed.
